Parmesan Crusted Fish Recipes

Fish fillets are coated with a crispy and flavorful mixture of Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, and seasonings in this delectable dish. As a result, the crust is golden and crunchy, enhancing the natural flavors of the fish. The flavorful and satisfying Parmesan Crusted Fish is ideal for a quick and delicious dinner. The crispy Parmesan crust and tender fish will undoubtedly be a hit.

Making Parmesan Crusted Fish is simple. All you have to do is combine all of the seasonings with the Parmesan cheese, coat the fish in the mixture, and bake until done. It goes well with couscous, wild rice, and bread. This dish is delicious with lots of butter and lemon. I usually melt about 2 tablespoons of butter and squeeze some lemon juice into it before serving as a dip.

Here's a basic recipe for preparing Parmesan Crusted Fish:

Ingredients:

- 4 fish fillets (such as tilapia, cod, salmon, or haddock)

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crispiness)

- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 lemon, zest and juice

- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil

- Salt and black pepper to taste

- Lemon wedges and fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

   - Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and heat a baking sheet in the oven.

2. Prepare the Coating:

   - Combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped fresh parsley, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish. To make the Parmesan crust, combine all of the ingredients.

3. Prepare the Fish:

   - Using paper towels, pat the fish fillets dry. This improves the coating's adhesion to the fish.

   - For a fresh and bright flavor, squeeze lemon juice over the fish fillets.

4. Coat the Fish:

   - Brush both sides of the fish fillets with olive oil. This aids in the crisping and goldening of the crust.

   - Dip each fillet into the Parmesan crust mixture, gently pressing it down to adhere the coating to both sides of the fish. Check that the fillets are evenly coated.

5. Bake:

   - To prevent sticking, carefully remove the preheated baking sheet from the oven and brush it with olive oil.

   - Place the coated fish fillets on the baking sheet.

   - Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown and crispy, in a preheated oven. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillets, so keep an eye on it.

6. Garnish and Serve:

   - Remove the Parmesan Crusted Fish from the oven when it is done.

   - Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs if desired.

   - Serve the fish hot with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, a fresh salad, or rice. Enjoy!
