A well-known Filipino stew, menudo is made with a tasty blend of pork, liver, veggies, and tomato sauce. With several regional variants, this meal is a common favorite in the Philippines and is substantial and flavorful. Fish sauce, soy sauce, and other condiments are frequently used to season menudo to taste. I doubled the sweet and sour sauce recipe and added bell pepper, carrots, and onion. The end product is an incredible s...

In Chinese and Filipino cuisine, it is often served as a main dish with steamed rice. Even those who have tried this meal before are curious: what exactly is tausi? To put it simply, they are fermented black soybeans. The term "tausi" is derived from the Lan-nang language, and it is currently used in Cebuano and Tagalog as well. These beans, known as douchi in English, taste like a combination of soy sauce and fish sauce. Tausi was first brought to us by the Chinese, who used it in many of their soups and stews. We've used it in a variety of meals since then. Tausi has seen it all, from clams to spareribs and now fish! Other Asian count...
